The Part Time Online English Tutor works with students on a one to one basis, providing personalised instruction in the field of English. Ideal candidates will: use creative and engaging techniques to help students learn, bring a love of learning and a passion for English to their students, have an excellent knowledge of the subject, and have access to a computer as well as a reliable internet connection. A Bachelor of Science in either English, or a related field, as well as 1-2 years of tutoring experience are required.​​

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare material for each student’s session based on their school’s syllabus for the academic year

• Teach the material at a suitable pace for the student, via Zoom, while catering to his or her primary and secondary learning styles as well as personality

• Provide monthly reports, to the Founder & CEO, on each assigned student’s performance, noting areas of strengths and weaknesses 

• Respond to students’ concerns and questions during Zoom sessions or via email; the latter being within 24 hours
